The booking thread, from first message to knock
The booking thread is the written conversation in which a session is requested, the hour agreed, the deposit named and any change or cancellation recorded.
Everything about a booking happens in writing, in a single conversation referred to here as the booking thread. It is where you ask, where the hour is agreed, where the deposit figure appears, and where any later change is recorded. For a visitor whose spoken English or Dutch may be tired after a long flight, writing is an advantage: you can read the reply twice and answer when you are ready.
What the first message should hold
The therapist you would like, or a note that you are open to others; the length; the hotel and room, or at least the hotel; the hour you want; and whether one or two people will be present. A line about a flight, a late check-in or a locked lift saves a question later. The booking page lists the order the messages run in.
What comes back
A reply confirms whether the hour works, gives the arrival window or the agreed journey time, and names the deposit where one applies, together with how to pay it. Nothing is fixed until you accept.
Why it matters later
Because the thread holds every agreed detail, it is also where a move or a cancellation takes effect. The time your message lands in it is the time used on the notice scale.
