The deposit, for a visitor booking from abroad

The deposit is the first half of the fee itself, stated in writing once the hour is agreed and paid before she sets out; it is not a separate sum held aside.

For a visitor, the word deposit can suggest a hotel-style hold on a card that is released later. This one works differently. It is the first half of the price, worked out from the rates in the profile of the therapist you chose, confirmed in writing once the hour is agreed, and paid before she leaves for your address. The other half is the balance at the door.

When it applies

Seven kinds of booking carry one: anything arranged more than twenty-four hours ahead, an overnight, two therapists together, a room at Schiphol or at an airport hotel, a peak date, a session of three hours or more, and a first booking with the house. A first trip therefore always involves one, since the booking is a first by definition.

How it is paid

A card comes first, with Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency as alternatives. Neither bank transfer nor PayPal is an option, and cash cannot serve because it only changes hands in the room. Amounts are in euro and include all taxes. Book ninety minutes on your arrival evening and the deposit is precisely half the ninety minute line, nothing rounded up.

What happens to it later

If you cancel, the notice you give decides how much comes back, as the cancellation entry explains. If you move the date once with more than a day's notice, it moves with you.
